ABOUT ASHLEY
Ashley McCray is obsessed with breaking down barriers, building possibilities and changing the world by activating others. A problem solver from birth and an engineer by degree, she is determined to help individuals design their path to success.
As a Chemical Engineer and non – profit leader, Ashley led international multi-million dollar projects for a Fortune 500 company, coaches individuals to attain their dream careers, and consults for businesses in her free time. When she’s not nerding out on business strategy or happiness research, she’s immersed in her other passion – changing the face of leadership.
Through public speaking Ashley hopes to inspire minorities (women and people of color) to explore their dream careers to unlock they ideal future. Her message centers around her experience in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) and business. Ashley draws on her experiences – the highs and lows - to deliver a captivating message that inspires all. Ultimately, her goal is to motivate people to achieve their greatest potential.
Ashley holds a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Pittsburgh. Her professional experience spans consulting, product development, operations, R&D, sales and marketing for General Mills, Dow Chemical Company, Bain Consulting Co., Minneapolis/St. Paul, Start-ups and starting her own company. She's currently an MBA Candidate at Harvard Business School and the Founder/CEO of Chooz Happy.
